Target Restoration

It’s always interesting to see our business grow.  After receiving a call from a business that represents Target, we were contracted to restore and repaint an entry at one of the Louisville Targets. After working though all the logistics, we completed this job on schedule, without interrupting their normal business hours.

Mockingbird Valley Renovation

Check out this newly renovated exterior with an amazing back porch in the Mockingbird Valley/Indian Hills area. Very few things add value to a house than a private backyard patio that is both cozy and functional. After this home received an extended addition with a loft like kitchen and dining room, the private patio was next on the list. This renovation included finishing new stucco, restoring windows, and painting both a garden closet and exterior overhang decking. After being quite satisfied with our work & pricing, this client has invited us back to paint various interior projects.

Exterior Re-Paint (Frankfort Ave Area)

The Redemption Painting Company had the privilege to consult our client with color selections and re-paint the entire exterior on this Frankfort Ave area home. As you’ll see, the major color change was on the porch. We changed the porch itself from the widespread mundane grey porch paint to a classy charcoal grey, called porpoise of Sherwin Williams. Additionally, we added the historic light blue porch paint to keep all the mosquitoes away! All the other colors were matched using the Sherwin Williams Color visualizer technology to provide a fresh new look. The ‘before and afters’ pale in comparison of the beauty this home has in person.

Frances Lee Jasper Oriental Rugs

This album showcases our work at the ‘Frances Lee Jasper Oriental Rug Store’ at 1330 Bardstown Rd in Louisville Ky. Frances, who has become a good friend of mine, has some antique rugs that should be in museums. These rugs date over 100 years old and are simply beautiful (see pictures below). However, if you’re not in the market for a $30,000+ antique rugs, you’ll additionally find a great selection of authentic oriental rugs that are quite affordable.

As for the painting, we updated these spaces Benjamin’s Moore ‘Lambs Wool,’ a soft grey/tan, thus moving away from the dated ‘pinkish Taupe’ and added some charcoal grey accent walls.

Cafe Lou Lou

Our Friends at the delicious ‘Cafe Lou Lou’ requested our services to repaint their restaurant in Saint Matthews. The only issue was that the restaurant stays open 7 days a week. In light of this, we arranged all the details and painted through the night. Essentially, we put on some classic rock and knocked out the project in nearly one night (10pm-7am). As the Redemption Painting Company, it’s our policy to accommodate our clients needs as possible. This includes working on the weekend and in the evenings as needed. Do you have a project that needs special accommodations? If so, please contact us for a free estimate. We’ll be glad to help!

To complete the re-paint we used the Sherwin Williams’ Duration covering on the walls. Others contractor told our client it could take up to three coats, yet with use of Duration we were able to covered it in one. Not only did our client spend less, but with Duration we were able shorten the construction process, which didn’t interrupt their operation.  In the end, the folks at Cafe Lou Lou were so thrilled they have asked us to price out their other location off of Bardstown road.

Southside Ministries – 17,000 sqft renovation project

Southside Ministries is our largest project to date. We painted the entire 17,000 square foot space over the summer, which included a church sanctuary, chapel, fellowship hall,  and countless other classrooms and areas designated for ministry space.

Highlands exterior re-paint

After years of taking a beating from the elements, the Redemption Painting Company, a Louisville painting company, set out to restore this victorian style home in the Highlands to its original beauty.  Before repainting the historic colors, we prepared the surfaces through: pressure washing, wood repairs, caulking, puttying, and sanding. The current home owner  hired our company to give his home  a needed facelift to sell.  I think its a safe bet that this gem will go quickly!  Please check out the ‘before and afters!’   The location of this project is on Rosewood Ave, just off Bardstown Road in Louisville Kentucky.

No job too small: Window Restoration in the Highlands

With Redemption Painting, no job is too small. We provide service for a wide range of clients — from home owners to general contractors — and we accomplish projects across the spectrum: anything from large scale commercial renovations to one day projects. This restoration project saved our client hundreds of dollars.

Instead of replacing these historic french windows in the Highlands, we were able to make ample repairs on both the wood structure and surfaces to these renew the beauty of these timeless windows.

No job too small: Custom Shelving for Dining Space

As the Redemption Painting, a Louisville painting company, we specialize in a full assortment of home improvement services — including staining.

In this project, we designed and custom built this shelving unit, applied two coats of satin and polyurethane (to match the existing floor), and installed them. These shelves turned out to be a great accent this dining room, providing additional space for unique kitchen items and decor.

Sojourn Community Church: New Albany Campus Renovation

Larger than residential projects (and many commercial projects as well), painting and renovations for church buildings and sanctuaries are unique projects. But they happen to be a specialty for Redemption Painting Company. This particular project was a renovation we executed for the launch of Sojourn’s New Albany campus.
Transforming an old school into a place of worship is no small task. Redemption’s work included:
  • Converting an old cafeteria into a fellowship/meeting space
  • Turning classrooms into nurseries for children

To meet Sojourn’s needs in this job, we painted their new colors on the walls, trim, and doors to create a warm environment for this new church gathering space.

The staff at Sojourn are some great people to work with. Its a great joy of my job to meet new clients, hear the story of the organization or business, and then to provide a service that furthers their goals.

A Short Word About Sojourn

I really respect what they are doing in their various communities. Just the other day they hosted a free medical clinic for the public, where anyone could: see a doctor for medical needs, receive needed food and household items, and meet new friends to walk alongside them in their ongoing needs. How cool is that!  You can read more about it here.

Thanks, Sojourn! We look forward to working with you in the future!
